What is practical training?

Practical training helps to develop your skills, so you can learn how to install Urmet on the go.

What does this mean?

This means that installers do not require training to install Urmet systems.

This is because we provide site specific technical packs for every project we work on, these technical packs break down the installation step-by-step, allowing you to learn about Urmet on-the-job.

This means that even if you are a first-time Urmet installer, you are able to install Urmet systems quickly, using our interactive technical packs.

What is included within these Technical Packs?

Depending on the system you are installing, technical packs include:

  • Site Specific Connection Diagrams
  • Fault Finding Guides with Helpful Hints and Tips
  • Interactive Hardware Installation Manuals
  • Software Programming Guides
  • System Programming Apps
  • Software Installer Tools
  • USB Software Setup

If I don't need training, why is there an option to receive it?

To build upon your practical training, we also offer further training on Urmet systems.

You can choose to take part in our standard training modules, or alternatively you can request a project specific training course

Why would I request further training if I don't need it?

Upon completion of your further training, you may be able to qualify as an Urmet Pro Installer.

Urmet Pro Installers enjoy a wide range of additional benefits - to learn more about the benefits of becoming an Urmet Pro Installer, click here.
