How do I buy your products?

There are 2 types of Urmet product on our website; our products and replacement parts.

Purchasing our Products

To purchase our products, first search for the product/s you require on our site (for more guidance on this, see below). 

Once you have located the product/s you require you can either use the 'Request a Quote' button at the top right hand side on any page on our site; or raise a company purchase order directly with our customer service team at customerservice@urmet.co.uk.

Purchasing Replacement Parts

To purchase our replacement parts, first search for the product/s you require on our site (for more guidance on this, see below).


If you do not have a credit account with us, you have to buy your replacement/spare parts on our website, using Paypal. 


If you do have a credit account with us, currently you must click the 'Request a Quote' button at the top right of any page on our site, or contact our customer service team directly.


You can also email our customer service team directly and they will be happy to process your order.

You can search for the products you require by using the product search feature on our website.

Use the search bar in the top left of any page on our site, and enter either the product number or product name. 


NOTE: If you cannot find the product/s you require, please click here


Once you have entered a product number or product name, results will display in the drop down menu. Select the product that you want to view, if your product does not display press 'Enter' to view all results. 



The page will load with the product that you selected, for replacement/spare parts there will be a price included, and the option to add this to your cart. For general products, there is no price and the 'Add to Cart' option will not be there, instead this is replaced with the 'Request a Quote' button.


The price is only displayed for replacement/spare parts at this current time, therefore these are the only products that you can purchase without using the 'Request a Quote' button.


Purchasing Urmet Products

Once you have identified the product/s that you require using our product search, you can begin your purchase in two ways. You can email your purchase order to our customer service team at customerservice@urmet.co.uk, or you can use our 'Request a Quote' service found at the top right of any page on our site. Guidance on how to use this service is included below: 

This will now take you to our Request a Quote form, enter your email address to get started. 


If you have previously set up an account using the email that you provided, the details will appear here. If not, then continue to add your details and set up an account, see form below.



Once your account has been set up/selected, you must now choose what type of quote you require. If you require our products as opposed to replacement parts, click 'System'.



Now fill in the details regarding the system/products you require. If you do not require Door Entry systems/products, press the 'skip' button to go to Access Control. 



To complete your quote, tell us more information about your requirements, and upload any supporting documents so we can accurately quote your order.



Your quote is now complete!


A member of our team will send your quotation back to you, and to confirm your purchase you must send an official company order, or email confirmation of your order to our customer service team, using your quote number as a reference.

Purchasing Replacement/Spare Parts

Once you have located the replacement product/s that you require, make your purchase. This process varies depending on whether you currently have a credit account with Urmet. 


I don't have a credit account 

If you do not have a credit account with us, then you must purchase replacement/spare parts directly from the website. You can also email our customer service team directly at customerservice@urmet.co.uk. After searching for the product you require, add this product to your basket- see above for instructions on how to do this.


Now, navigate to your cart. This can be found in the top right part of any page on our site.


Within your cart, you will be able to remove products that are no longer needed, adjust product quantities and apply any coupons that you may have. Once this is finalised, select 'Proceed to checkout'.


Once you have clicked 'Proceed to checkout', you will have to put in your details to confirm the transaction. Make sure you accept the Terms and Conditions, then proceed to Paypal where the transaction is confirmed. 



I do have a credit account 

If you do have a credit account with us, currently to purchase replacement/spare parts you will have to either email our customer service team directly at customerservice@urmet.co.uk or use our 'Request a Quote' button at the top right of any page on our site. 



Here, you will be able to tell our customer service team which replacement product you require, and they will be able to assist you. 


Enter your email address to get started.

Once your account has been set up/selected, you must now choose what type of quote you require. You will now select 'replacement parts'.



Here, you must enter the replacement part numbers that you require. If you do not know the part number, then upload images of your product as shown below.



To complete your quote, tell us more information about your requirements, and upload any supporting documents so we can accurately quote your order.



Your quote is now complete!


A member of our team will send your quotation back to you, and to confirm your purchase you must send an official company order, or email confirmation of your order to our customer service team, using your quote number as a reference.
